This dreamy, mid-summer wedding was photographed at Glen Manor House, a French Chateau nestled on the banks of the Sakonnet River in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. It is such a beautiful and whimsical wedding venue. I look forward to photographing another wedding here soon!
The bride’s kerchief inspired wedding gown looked like it was straight out of a fairy tale. What’s more New England than a groom and his groomsmen dressed in navy seersucker suits and bowties? These dapper gents really pulled off this look, perfect for an elegant yet not too formal garden party.
The floral details by Sayles Livingston Flowers were so whimsical. I loved the sweet flower crown worn by the flower girl and the darling basket that she carried.
The bridesmaids were dreamy in their soft peach colored dresses. Each bridesmaid chose a neckline that suited them best. It all coordinated so perfectly with the darling bouquets from Sayles Livingston Flowers.
This might have been my favorite part of the day, the signing of the Ketubah (the marriage contract). It was such an intimate moment shared between the families.
The chuppah, made of branches and wrapped in a garland of roses stood waiting for the bride and groom to arrive.
Best of luck to the happy couple as they embark on their life together!
It was a pleasure to second shoot this wedding with my dear friend Tiffany Axtmann.
